        When do I start! Friendly staff & amazing setting. Me and my partner went for a Sunday roast and it has got to be one of the best Sunday roasts Ive ever had from a pub. We will definitely be back in the future. Dog friendly too! I do recommend booking in advance because I booked a day before and they only had a 11:45am slot left! Thank you for having us x

        Visited for lunch on a week day and didn't need to book a table. Good selection of food which is reasonably priced. Service was prompt and staff were pleasent. Food and drinks served were fresh and tasted good.

        April 2023....Everytime we go the Trout, it gets better. Cannot fault the service and food. Today was no exception. The famous pie was so tasty and I've not seen my partner devour a lasagne so fast, said she didn't want it to go cold. What a great place to go for a meal and a chill, after a good walk. . Excellent food, excellent service. Good job we got here early, very popular pub. Can see why people say it's so good.
