        A pleasant, well-laid our site with limited scope for public transport. It's a good 45-minute walk, not for the faint-hearted into Leek, along a busy road. Very limited WiFi on our visit. Walkability: Good hiking country.

        Nice site to say if you're visiting Alton Towers. The only problem is if you get a pitch at the bottom next to a very busy rood. If a hgv goes past fast, your caravan actually shakes. Nearby activities: Alton towers and a small safari park
