        Visited Bidlea for the first time yesterday.Realy lovely cafe,and delicious cakes!Haven't tried an ice cream,but as that is what they are renowned for I will be back soon to try one.Very clean,tasteful modern building,with a helpful happy team.

        Good for self service bulk ice cream etc. Cafe very limited menu for savoury options but great if you just want a snack. Drinks OK. Wide selection of Ice Cream flavours to purchase by cornet or tub. Main problem is Service/ Queues - Ice cream servery needs separating from everything else. If you just want a drink or Lunch you have to wait in line with everybody else getting Icecream, sometimes outside!! Limited seating - especially if taken up by people just having icecream. Not strictly a CAFE based on current set up - more of an Icecream Parlour.

        Whenever I have to take someone to Manchester Airport, I always make a detour here on the way home, to have a delicious liquorice and blackcurrant ice cream. It might sound like an odd combination, but it really works, and it's the only place in the country that I'm aware of that does it. It's worth the diversion. If you love ice cream, this place is a must.
