The car park is compacted stone. There isn't a board giving you the cost of parking or of the times, days and dates in which you have to pay for parking, so you might be paying when there is no real need to. There is a sign with costs in The Lakes car park but it doesn't give you any idea of the time periods. It took us nearly half an hour to pay after trying to download the app and trying to get the web page up which is a lot of wasted time.
