        We had a wonderful stay at the lodge .Steve and Carys answered any queries immediately by text .Everything we wanted to do and see was within a 30 minute drive , nature reserves, beaches, rspb sites etc . A ten minute walk into the village offers 2 pubs and a 15 minute drive gets you to Ulverston with its pubs ,market , independent stalls and the laurel and hardy museum . Thanks again we will return

        Steven and his wife have a lovely property in a great location. They are quick to respond to messages and help as much as they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We particularly enjoyed the nice surprise of them having a hot tub installed just before we arrived. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area.
