Im only giving the garden centre 2 stars only, because you cant take Dogs into the cafe and it was to too cold to eat outside the cafe .we ate elsewhere

Lovely afternoon, wandered around the garden centre and gift section then went to the restaurant for afternoon coffee and cake. There was a busy with a lively atmosphere. There is a good selection of food and drinks to suit all tastes. Dietary needs are catered for and if there us a query about any foodstuff the staff are really helpful. It is also possible to telephone prior to a visit to enquire about or to notify of a requirement. My gluten free raspberry cheesecake was delicious. A very pleasant afternoon

Always good food and we make a point of visiting every time we come to the Lakes. We miss their evening meals so look forward to the cafe reopening in the evening
