        What a great cottage to celebrate our first anniversary. The host made us feel so welcome with all the extra touches like flowers picked from her garden and a bottle of Prosecco. The cottage has been decorated to a very high standard. Great location to Carlisle town centre, only 15 minutes in a taxi if you choose. Great wee pub in the village of Dalston with good hearty food. Thanks to Kathreen and Mike for the warm welcome.
