Salon 2000

Although the other review is 5 years old, it still holds true! I had crochet braids installed and was in and out in not much more than 2 hours. I've never had such a quick and efficient installation. I also have a tender scalp and for the first time mentioning this at a salon, the hairdresser understood right away and I didn't once have to ask for any cornrows to be loosened although everything still looked neat and tidy. Prices are all very reasonable. Worth a visit if you're looking to get your hair done in the area!

This lady saved my hair sanity a quite possible me from having a life long fear of hair dressers. She for a very reasonable price re did many of the crochet knots in my crochet braided hair (as they were already begging to come loose from when a different hair dresser from a different shop had put them in the day before) and cut it beatifullly. This was a refreshing change from the hair dresser from mo' beauty zone, who let me walk out with sections of extentions missing who by the way requested full payment with out completing my hair and to return in two day time for her to rectify it. I had been going to salon 2000 for many years previously and have always rate it highly she is absolutely lovely friendly and alway does exceptional quality hair at a good price. I had been trying out other Haidresser's that have opened up on Ridley road an Iv learnt my lesson from bad quality hair dressing to sitting in a salon for up to three hour at a time waiting while they eat food start talking on the phone or people calling you Oyinbo. And worste of all salons that burn your scalp while relaxing because they have know running water in their units so they have to to and fro from an unknown water source. There is none of that at Salon 2000 just consistent 5 star service! I would also like to point out there are a lot of hairdresser that hovever that hang about out side paks on Ridley road and willl try to get you to go with them to get your hair done and they will usually offer to hold your bag of hair supply so you can't then wonder of and find a different hairdresser. It is understandable that anyone falls for this because they may for example lure you in with lower prices how ever consider this. While I having my hair done in mo's beauty zone 2 costomers came in and we're asking here redo their crochet braiding as they had fallen out. I think in terms of some Afro Carebian hair styles time is extremely relevant to the quality hair dressing you recieved. It's so farcical that I look back and laugh but quite frankly not a legitimate Way to run hair dressers. However, SALON 2000 IS A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE OF THE WAY TO GIVE GOOD COSTERMER SERVICE AND WHAT ALL AFRO CARIBIANS HAIR SALONS SHOULD ASPIRE TO BE. It time for people who access Afro Carebian Har dresserspeople stand up and say would like basic decent costomer services please and not to be ripped of. So salon 2000 I salute you. You have managed to achieve an incredible level of Afro Carebian hairdressing and an awesome level of customer service in this ever changing market place. THANKYOU :)
