Dallington Lodge is situated in an idylic rural location in the HIgh Weald AONB and within a short walking distance of the village pub. The accommodation is pet friendly. You can embark on beautiful hikes in all directions directly from the lodge gate. We saw many deer and the bluebells were in full bloom. The Lodge is an excellent base, offering as it does opportunity for both relaxation and seclusion, or for exploring the countless attractions that East Sussex and Kent have to offer (Rye, Camber, Brighton, T Wells, Bexhill etc). The lodge is clean & well appointed, furnished in appropriately country style and having everything you'll need for your stay (bring your own towels). Sarah is an exceptionally accommodating and friendly host, with a wealth of knowledge about the area. There are two seating areas outside to make the most of the weather in the morning and the afternoon. Be sure to bring your groceries with you as this can be a real "get away from it all" break, too, with no need to travel too far afield if you've brought bikes or hiking boots! You'll be part of village life in no time!
