A lovely cottage. Well laid out. We all enjoyed our holiday there. Very dog friendly.

An incredible property!!! Beautiful views and amazingly decorated cottages making it an oasis to be there! We had all 3 cottages for our bridal party and it was just perfect. When my parents turned up, they instantly wanted to know the details so they could book for a family holiday. Couldnt believe how lucky we got getting this property and all our guests agreed. Kim was so professional and helpful in the lead up to our stay and so friendly throughout. Cannot wait to come back and stay again!!

We had the most fantastic stay at bay tree barn on the weekend of our wedding. The hosts were lovely, the setting was beautiful and we had so much space to get ready and relax all weekend. We particularly enjoyed a visit in the front yard from the hosts little dog! Its the perfect spot for staging a wedding anywhere in Harrogate or Bilton Abbey area - cant recommend highly enough.

We booked Bay Tree Barn with some friends to use as a base for walking and exploring the Dales. We were impressed with the property. It is extremely well presented, warm, clean and comfortable; a lot of thought has gone into the interior. The outside space was also well presented and private with fantastic views across the open countryside. Both bedrooms are large and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. We loved the open plan design downstairs which worked very well. All in all we had a great time and could not fault the property. The fridge/freezer is a little noisy but not enough to spoil a holiday. The TV remote was a little erratic but this was down to needing some new batteries. There weren't any in the property so we used some from a headtorch we had with us and it was fine. So new batteries are probably required. We had a thoroughly good time. Thank you.

The best thing about Bay Tree Barn were the stunning views and the beds, The beds were so so comfortable but thats where it ends for me. When we arrived we was disappointed. downstairs is one large open plan room with no windows just the exit door and the french doors, it felt closed in and claustrophobic, it was cluttred with way to much very old furniture. I counted 15 tables/sideboards in the lounge. The photo's do look amazing but i expect they were taken when it was all brand new. We also had issues with the owners dogs, on multiple occasions they jumped the fence and came into the property/barn and there was nearly a fight with my dog, luckily I was able to grab my dog in time. this meant we had to leave the french doors closed. The noise which comes from the fridge is really annoying, it sounds like a washing machine spinning and annoying when trying to watch TV. The signal on the TV constantly drops out with no signal and unable to watch a show through. there were broken tiles in the bathroom and ripped curtains in the lounge. it was such a shame as was really looking forward to our visit.
