        As a National Trust member, I was looking forward to looking round this historic & recommended mansion, but you can't just wander at leisure; you have to book a guided tour at an additional 8.50. Overpriced cafe & the toilets were freezing and dirty. Waste of a trip.

        Visited the marmalade festival, gardens and house. Unfortunately it was raining so will revisit the gardens when weather improves, still very good though. Tent where the marmalade was very good. We sat down for coffee and cake, but amateur bell ringers were clanging away quite loudly got very annoying after a while as it was difficult to have a conversation. Apart from that we will definitely be back.
