Ullswater Heights Holiday Home and Lodge Park

Weve been twice now as a family. When we first went it had just opened and there were a few issues such as the hot tub wasnt hot and the oven wasnt working, however these got fixed the next day and we were offered 50% off on our next stay which was great, so we returned about 8months later and there were issues yet again with the fridge beeping constantly keeping us all awake, the beeping was so bad that we had to move. We were kindly offered 40% off giving the issues and the massive inconvenience it was to move all our things to the other part of the site after having already unpacked, however after ringing to confirm the booking we were told because the manager at the time hadnt emailed us confirmation then we werent being giving any discount and I find shocking. Its not our job to email the customer its yours! Therefore its left a massive sour taste it our mouth and wont be returning to ullswater ever again. Would not recommend!

We just spent a week here and had a brilliant time. Location is great and very peaceful. Lodges are modern, clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful, we had a small issue on arrival which was sorted incredibly quickly. The restaurant on site is also of a very good standard - great pizzas and selection of food for families. There is a playground and mini golf attached to keep the kids busy. 2 small things I'd suggest to improve; 1. more EV chargers round lodges as these are becoming more popular and sometimes all in use. 2. Coat hooks in the lodge (we had none, assume it's the same for everyone), you end up hanging wet coats over chairs and radiators so this would be a simple improvement. In all I'd highly recommend Ullswater Heights and I'm sure we will return one day.

Just come back from a 3 day weekend as a group of 6 friends. The lodges are great, they have everything you need. Great that there's a TV in every bedroom. Only downside was being right next to children's park when we are a group of adults and the bat closes at 10pm. Only a 10 minute drive from Pooley Bridge that has a great walk around the lake.

review Lodge was absolutely fantastic large tvs in Living room and bedroom and very modern,food lovely in bar however I don't think enough facilities on such a large resort...and still building more....we are still here on a 3 night break and like Natasha G review this month we also had issues with the hot tub.....very poor flow and jets not working...initially a maintenance man attended and told us it was a jacuzzi bath and not a hot tub....he changed his mind later.. staff at reception (Jenny) could not have been more helpful however she has no knowledge of hot tubs by her own admission. She came to the lodge with the same maintenance man who tried to talk as if knew what doing..we also have a tub at home and this excuse was more like a hot bath with ripple in it...maintenance man tried to fix and again no power on jets at front ....same as other review"best you're going to get " Well I DONT THINK THAT IS AN ANSWER A CUSTOMER WANTS We were offered a pod or use of a hot tub 800yrds away not ideal ..... On arrival I had sent pictures and videos to friends who were all taken aback by the quality however nice quality poor service UPDATE I also posted this on trip advisor and there customer services put on they were disappointed that my holiday hadn't went well and asked them to contact customer services.......this was purely for show...I contacted them and they stated they were aware of my complaint and could offer nothing in regards to same....just trying to improve image WORST HOT TUBS EVER

Stayed here twice now and looking to book again. Its a great base location to enjoy the area. Staff always helpful, lodge was clean, hot tub was ideal of those chilled evenings after a day of hiking. Restaurant is reasonably priced and good food. Enough to do for kids, with the play park, farm, and the mini golf. Cant wait to come back again!
