Perfect place for a chilled hen party! We stayed here during covid restrictions, with 6 staying overnight and 10-12 of us using the outside space on the daytime. The lawn and fire pit were so perfect for the summer evening playing games and relaxing for the evening. Would definitely stay again!

Just been one of the first guests able to book after the lock down lifting. Our hosts, Trish and Roger, couldn't have been more attentive toward providing a safe environment whilst maximising our freedom to enjoy and appreciate the stunning location. The Camping Barn has been sympathetically converted to provide every modern expectation whilst retaining the character and features of its original purpose. The coastal resorts of Lynton, Lynmouth, Combe Martin and Dunster were within easy driving distance but on this occasion we discovered Wimbleball Lake, Clatworthy Reservoir and Tarr Steps. There is so much to fill a holiday here for the active visitor and for anyone just wanting to just savour the peace and quiet. The Barn garden is the perfect place to wind down and enjoy afternoon tea or a BBQ. Best of all though; the absolute silence and the star filled dark sky. This wasn't our first visit and I know we'll be returning. Chris Cockram
