Newham Council Repairs

Over the years the repairs team has improved. Everyone is friendly, respectful, and the workers always get the job done quickly and to a perfect finished. Really happy!

Reported issue using the online form in August. Heard nothing. Reported it in September, I was advised that I shouldnt use the online forms because they dont work. Someone came in October to say theyll order the parts and will be back within 2 weeks. Heard nothing until January the following year only to be told they will setup a new job number because its been too long since October. Booked engineer for end of February. He came and stayed for less than 10 seconds just to look and say they will order the part and be back within 2 weeks. You cant make it up! The laziness or the utter incompetence of this team never cease to shock me. Oh and when you ring them, you could spend on average of 30 minutes or even longer on hold before the rude operator answers to put you on hold again.

Just been on the phone for an hour waiting for the repairs department to answer my call only for them to disconnect it before I got to speak to anyone. This is not the first time it has happened, it's a regular occurrence.

No one picks up the phone on repairs team. Have had no hot water and heating for 3 days. Absolute joke.Nehwam does not care for its residents, not one bit. Poor service, not even worth a star.

Terrible service, slow and highly unorganised. When they do manage to send someone for repairs, they send the wrong type of repairs person I.e. roof specialist for plumbing jobs.
