From the start, the day wasn't great. The website address leads you to some kennels, when the actual site is half a mile down the road in a different post code. There were also no signs at all, although someone at the event told me HS2 staff removed them all. Upon arrival, parking is 5. You get that back as a bar token, but prices start at 6.50 for any pint that isn't Stella, and 19.50 for a bottle of wine. No other food or drink outlets accept the tokens. Apart from the stage show and Aardman's tent, everything else is an additional charge, which is basically a small fairground. Even one of the food vendors told me they thought it was unfairly priced for what it was. The one saving grace is our youngest is small enough to have enjoyed the stage shows as well as meeting The Gruffalo. The entertainers were professional and deserved better, but the organisers need to take a long, hard look at themselves. You could easily end up spending over 100 here, and Drayton Manor is ten minutes down the road.

So disappointed with this so called festival! Definitely not worth the money we paid, really over priced. Nothing for the kids to do. Half the things advertised weren't there, had to pay extra for parking, fair rides were expensive. Was there about 1.5 hours including eating our picnic. Messaged them and they have just read it and ignored me! Shocked they are advertising for 2023! Would not recommend.

Bit of a shambles to be honest. Parking was an unexpected 5, not free as advertised. You got a drink back for that but that's still not free? It cost 6 with the drinks token for one large coke and one small coke, so would have cost 11 without the token? Coke came out of a 2l bottle which sells for 2 max. In shops. Steep mark up! We arrived at 1pm on Friday, toilets were filthy. I couldn't go toilet as I was on my own with two kids and couldn't take a pushchair in but couldn't leave my kids outside the loo so held it and my son wouldn't use the loo as they stunk and were covered in wee. Entertainment was not as advertised, kids were bored. Slime was good, managed to buy us some time but we left not long after this. Sports 'area' was just a set of goals, food wasn't very kid friendly, rides were insanely expensive, grass was long and straw like - my kids legs are scratched to their knees. Trousers shouldn't have had to be an option on a hot day. Overall a waste of money.
