Tidy, spacious yard. Friendly, welcoming staff and atmosphere for both horses and owners. Also has an indoor school which is very useful, especially during these colder wet months, but very good hacking routes incase you fancy those nice frosty morning rides

Perfect full livery yard with excellent facilities including 3 schools, hot wash, solarium and miles of hacking without a road in sight ! My horse is looked after with top standard care and all needs and requirements are met to a high quality.

I moved my two polo ponies to Bassett Equestrian at quite short notice and Fran was extremely accommodating, the yard is kept to a beautiful standard and my horses settled so quickly. She very kind and knowledgable and allowed the horses to be in a routine that suits both them and myself, which is amazing. The atmosphere is always so welcoming and friendly, and I just want to spend hours up there enjoying the horses. The facilities are second to none, for any discipline at all! There is always an arena free to use, and the surfaces are amazing! There is also extensive hacking straight from the yard so no road work required at all, as well varying hills for fitness which is hard to find. I couldnt recommend the yard highly enough, the horses have never been so happy and the care they receive is second to none, at a very competitive rate.

My horse has been looked after by Fran, the business owner of Bassett Equestrian, since October 19. Fran has a fabulous rapport with all the horses on the yard, she is patient and kind but doesnt stand for any nonsense. They respect her and they look to her for reassurance if they come across any scary people with wheelbarrows! Fran works exceptionally hard to make sure that all the horses are catered for according to their needs, and my horse adores her. She is flexible, understands the demands of my work, and is happy to exercise my horse as required. She runs an organised and professional system which makes sure nothing gets missed. I would highly recommend Basset Equestrian to anyone looking for a reliable livery service for their horse
