Chris taught my son from the age of 9 to 18. Throughout that time he was always reliable, encouraging, very easy to get on with and overall a great teacher, (my sons words). He taught him electric guitar through Grades 1-8 and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris as a teacher.

I have known Chris for 5 years. He is a lovely teacher, kind, understanding and with a good sense of humour. He is a very talented musician and saw me through my grade 8 piano. Look no further than this man. He is brilliant, solid, reliable and a truly decent man. Dr Rakesh Shah

I am very pleased to recommend Chris Spring. After struggling with self-teaching methods for some time I felt that I was not progressing with the guitar at all. Since I met Chris I have learnt so much! Chris has a purpose built studio which is a fantastic environment to learn in. I feel there is a real connection with Chris as he is a easy to get on with, has a great sense of humour and is clearly a very talented Musician and Teacher. Chris is passionate about his trade and I very much appreciate his depth of knowledge which is so helpful when considering which type of instrument and peripheral equipment to buy, how to study and what types of exams are available etc. I appreciate the amount of encouragement Chris gives me, it has made me really enjoy the whole learning experience and I continue to enjoy the journey I have embarked on with Chris! Chris was my guitar tutor for 6, maybe 7 years while he was in Essex. I really miss him now hes in Kent. I started at a low intermediate level on acoustic and under his tutelage I progressed to playing songs Id never dreamed of trying. He encouraged me to get a Telecaster and I started learning rhythm techniques and soloing. Chris also helped me choose a good Taylor acoustic for performance. When I got a bass he helped me with working out various songs. My swan song with Chris was learning Mother Goose by Jethro Tull, a wicked acoustic riff. Chris has left me with the confidence to work out a Gary Moore instrumental note by note, which Id only dreamed of doing in the past. So thank you, Chris. I miss you, buddy. And I really miss the banter. God bless you mate.
