Since training under Steve Rose for over 10 years, i can honestly say he is an awesome trainer and a friend. Steve is always happy to take the time to ensure what he is teaching is understood by all. No lesson is rushed and to teach a martial art properly takes time! A true asset to the Wingchun Academy.

Steve is a talented and professional martial arts instructor with many years of WingChun training and teaching under his belt. He has a lot of patience and time for everyone and helps individuals learn and develop at their own pace. The Gravesend classes have a great bunch of students and they are a really energetic and focused place to learn high-quality WingChun. Would recommend giving it a go.

IAW WingChun offers functional and practical self-defence and Steve ensures this is delivered in his classes. I have been training under Steve at WingChun Gravesend for nearly 10 years and can honestly say that the dedication and devotion Steve offers to his students is second to none. He is a real force of energy and always puts 100% into our learning and training. Overall, Steve is a great teacher - the best Ive had the fortune to have met and train under.

In October last year Sifu Steve Rose was one of the instructors who assisted at our gradings for Caterham I.a.w. Steve is is very knowledgeable instructor and put us through our paces to say the least,he was always there to assist if a bit of help was needed during the grading and it was a tough but thoroughly enjoyable experience and a lot was learnt too. I would highly recommend Sifu Steve and Gravesend Wing Chun,it's a great place for anyone to start their martial arts journey. Tim Hayward.
