Victoria has been a great help to our son during lockdown. She tailored the work to his specific needs and interests and built up a good rapport with him. He has made progress whereas he was was struggling previously.

I took my son (11yrs) out of his previous school as he was having a difficult time there. I decided to homeschool for the rest of the year until I could get him into another school. I was given Victoria Routledges details by a friend that had used her services for her daughter. She spoke very highly of her, so I contacted her myself. She arranged an introductory lesson to see how my son got on and it was great. We decided to have two maths and one English lesson a week and it was the best decision I could have made regarding his education. Theres no way I could have taught him the things he has learned from her, she has been fantastic. Not only is he now well ahead of his year group in maths and English but his confidence and self esteem has soared. I cannot thank Victoria enough for all she has done to help him. She was kind, patient and understanding but was able to push him much more than I ever could have. Highly recommended.

2020 has been one of the most challenging years, not just for us adults it has been hard on our kids too. Being a self-employed designer and working from home trying to balance the business as well as making sure the kid's schooling generally continued was an absolute nightmare. Keeping my 9-year-olds attention for more than 3 minutes was a challenge and resulted in very little work until I discovered Victoria in May and I have to say she's been an absolute gem. We started the sessions with an initial interview where Victoria introduced herself and ask my son Lennon questions about his interests and passions which in our case was Robox and Lego. Lennon was delighted on the first lesson with Victoria when she'd customised all the worksheets to integrate aspects of the Robox universe and from day one he was engaged and productive. After these crazy months, normality will continue next week when he starts school again but after all these months of continued learning, he's going to hit the ground running. We will be asking Victoria to assist us with top-up lessons as and when we feel Lennon needs it going forward. I would 100% recommend anyone whose child needs a little help to give Victoria a call. Thank you, Victoria you've allowed some kind of routine in these crazy times and Lennon looks forward to working with his teacher again very soon.
