Devon Openers Limited

Very bad experience and would never recommend Simon Searle to anyone. I now doubt he ever intended to do the work he quoted us for - I think he had a lovely summer enjoying himself using all the deposits he took. We have lost a considerable amount of money in the form of a deposit and unfortunately as the company is now in liquidation we have been advised by our legal team that we are unlikely to get our deposit back. Thoroughly disappointed and disgusted that this person can treat potential customers this way.

We had our gates installed in May, and they are stunning. We thought we had a good working relationship with the company. However We have had endless problems trying to get them to work and the company now do not reply to our emails or phone calls. We still have semi functioning gates and are now looking to use another company to try and fix them after 5 months of trying to get an engineer to sort out the minor problems. It is very sad that a simple repair job has been overlooked. After my experiences of trying to get Devon Openers to come and fulfil their after sales obligations I can only strongly recommend any customers to not use them, and to look at alternative gate companies

Hi La Rule Like you I paid my deposit December 2020, the groundworks were started (drive dug up) and am still trying to get the job progressed. I had a similar string of excuses between gaps of weeks of silence. I have been told your problems are now solved. Please could you tell me where you bought the magic fairy dust to make this happen - and give any other advice. I really want this job completed.

This company is no longer trading. Mr Searle has set up a new company from 18th October called Everything Gate Automation Ltd (Company number 13686558). This is Mr Searle's 3rd attempt at making his fortune. Customer deposits?!

Paid our deposit mid December 2020, 7 months later still no gates & all the excuses you could think of. We are now having to seek legal action to receive our deposit back. Do not use.
