        Found the hot tub to be unclean. Emailed the site twice whilst there but no reply so not impressed as ended up not using the hot tub. Also found mouldy tea towel in the washing machine so that hadn't been checked.On a positive note the bed linen , towels etc were clean and fresh. Lovely area but needs more attention on site. A shame, as we have stayed here 10years ago and found it to be good.

        This is a tranquil setting with lodges located around several lakes. The accommodation is spacious, well furnished and adequately equipped. In chilly November the rooms are surprisingly warm. My only gripe was the lack of Wi-Fi in our lodge, made worse by no mobile phone/4G coverage of the site. In 2022, internet is an essential utility unless you truly want to go 'off grid'.
