Avoid. Cancelled our wedding catering "due to family commitments", despite originally confirming (deposit paid) 10 months ago. Not even an apology given and no proper reason why. We were booked to go to devon this month for tasting but now we're going to have to start from scratch a few months before our wedding. From the get go communication was poor, slow replies - we'd email several timed before getting a response, but over the phone Dave sounded friendly and enthusiastic so thought nothing of it. Then out of the blue we get an email saying they had to cancel. Posting this since i genuinely don't want another couple to go through this again. I saw the previous reviews about poor communication and last minute cancellations but thought that was a one off. Should have gone with a more reliable caterer. ** Context: Our wedding is beginning of July - giving us 4 and a half months to find a new caterer. Since posting this review fork and field has tried to ask us to take this down and said they'll tell the caterer he suggested to us to reconsider

Dave and his team catered for our Wedding on 1st October. The staff were excellent, professional and really took control of everything. Our hot buffet for 100 guests went down really well. It was all very 'easy'. The evening food of hot bacon rolls was popular- one of my favourite quotes of the day was from my uncle upon seeing me grab a bacon roll- 'how are you going to eat that? Its the size of a guinea pig!' It was, and they were delicious! Thanks Dave and the team.

Dave and the team did the most incredible job catering our wedding. Dave was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process, and all of his team were brilliant on the day. The food was absolutely one of everyone's highlights of the day, and all of our guests haven't stopped raving about how delicious everything was! We opted for sharing platters of the tastiest porchetta I've ever eaten (getting perfect crackling for 80 people was seriously impressive!), roast lamb, and lots of amazing vegetable sides and sourdough (sadly we didn't get many photos, but everything also looked beautiful). Dave was able to cater for all of our requirements (we had several allergies to contend with, as well as vegan and gluten free guests) and went above and beyond to prepare the perfect menu for us. All of the desserts were unreal as well, and the portions of everything were huge! Our main concern was our guests not getting enough food but we needn't have worried as everyone was so well fed. Wedding food on a completely different level to anything I've had before, I can't recommend them enough.

Awful customer service and extremely unprofessional. My partner and I wanted to book Field to Fork for our wedding as we fell in love with their menu and ethos. After receiving initially communication from the owner David we promptly emailed back saying we wanted to book and confirming prices as we are on a tight budget. We then failed to receive an email for THREE WEEKS! The whole while Field to Fork are posting on their social media networks. David eventually came back saying he had suffered from Covid. Understandable - but without a holding email or contact from another member of the team this felt extremely unprofessional. Nonetheless we still wanted to pursue booking Field to Fork - however David came back to say our wedding date had been booked. In the three weeks he had Covid and could not reply to my email he had managed to book for another wedding on our date (over a year away?). Looking at the reviews this isnt the only time there has been poor communication, blamed on illness and then dismissed the potential customer. Both my partner and I have never received such poor customer service and truly feel that because we were not booking the most expensive foods it was not worth Davids time. Disgusting attitude and highly advise you to never go into business with this company.
