A beautiful place. Mary is so welcoming and makes lovely cakes. The gardens are great for walking around in or sitting with a cup of tea. Highly recommend

Wonderful gardens, and lovely cream tea surrounded by ducks and peacocks.

Oh dear!!! Visited this garden today as its part of the open garden scheme. What a terribly sad sight it is... I honestly think that it's been let go beyond the point of return. And the amount of water fowl causing a terrible mess every where was a sight to behold. The whole place was quite frankly in a terrible state, and most certainly not a place which should currently be open as a designated open garden for the public. The teas were OK, and there was a great selection of cakes etc. But we were besieged by ducks begging for scraps in the tea garden. All a bit bizarre. Not really what I was expecting. What a shame....it must have been lovely once... but not now.
