Blakemere Touring Holiday & Lodge Park

Good in parts - modern, clean shower block, convenient location. Let down by the poor surface of roads and pitches, with coarse cinder gravel, making the pitch a not particularly pleasant place to be. The site has said in response to other reviews that this surface will be improved when funds allow, which is fair enough, but I can only review the site as it is at present.

Absolutely fantastic site, staff lovely and very helpful. Facilities outstanding, right next door to Blakemere village offering lots of activities for children and lovely shops to browse and purchase unusual items. Lovely childrens clothes shop. Fabulous places to eat, pizza, fish & chips plus lots more. Pitches are flat, large and very well kept. Already booked for another weekend.

Stayed there last year for 10 weeks while new house was been built, the staff couldn't do enough for us to accommodate us even on weekends when they were booked up, fantastic walke through woods.
