Long Man Brewery

Our visit to the Tap Room at Longman Brewery 11.04.23 I first discovered this beer three or four years ago at a beer tasting at the Tasting Rooms in East Grinstead and have been enjoying it every time I see it on the bar, or in the back bar fridge ever since. Our visit to Alfriston was too good to be true so we popped along to their Tap Room. Tom Laidlaw was a font of knowledge, talking us through some of the lesser known brews and the history of the production at the Longman Brewery. I hadnt realised that it had already passed its tenth birthday but I did manage to get to try a few before taking some home. They have big plans to move the Rap House to a bigger building creating even more atmosphere and room for bigger groups of people and I am sure that they will but for this visit this existing cosy current Tap House was cosy welcoming find on this wet day in Alfriston. Well done Tom. You and the team are doing a cracking job and I loved all the glassware, merchandise and products available to compliment a great night out or in.

The beer is great. Had a few pints in local pubs & decided to call in to purchase some on a cold winters day. Lovely shop but no warm welcome or offer to taste any, very disappointing.
