I cannot recommend Steve and Jim at Getaround Cars enough! After finding a great car through auto trader I called up and dealt with Steve who promptly arranged a test drive for me. Steve was extremely friendly and helpful. Steve was also very honest in answering questions I had which is quite rare in the trade. Sale was easy and efficient. Steve also held the car for me for a couple of hours while I transferred money in order to pay the deposit. Between paying the deposit and collecting the car and completing the sale Steve sent the car for a full service. I am extremely happy with everything and very happy with the quality of the car and the unusually low mileage. I was given a fair P/X price for my old car. On returning home I realised that I had left a couple of CDs in my old car so I messaged Steve. Within a few days Jim dropped the CDs to my front door personally which is neither near his house or near the sales garage. I offered to pay petrol for his trip just like I had offered to pay postage to send before they delivered my belongings back to me personally but Jim just waved his hand and said he didnt want anything for his trouble. I cannot praise Getaround Cars enough! If you find a car with them that suits your needs then I would recommend dealing with them. Other traders could learn a lot about customer satisfaction. First of all I would like to say Jim was very accommodating however I wouldnt recommend due to safety reasons. I recently brought a Car absolutely beautiful inside and out, Test drove it felt fine. However on the day of buying it whilst driving home the car was really chugging making loud noises from the exhaust the steering wheel was shaking like crazy. The next day I spoke to Jim he took the car back he offered me a replacement car until the other was fixed however by now we were unwilling to trust the car. We also noticed that the car had a small crack in screen which was not there when test driving. We also now know that the car had not been serviced before selling to us as our Mechanic has told us that they would have advised Not SAFE to drive. What makes the situation worse is I am a HCA and explained this. I needed a good decent car for work, Sadly having to wait for a refund has left me out of work as I can not buy another car until then, also filled the petrol 2.5 litre as was delivered on Empty costing 109, I was refused a refund. Absolutely shame.

I apologised for the negative review, but I was also very polite to you both. The only reason still I turned up, is because I was less than 10 minutes away when I got the call. So I asked if I could use the facilities, as I needed to.) I'm genuinely sorry to leave a negative review, but I've been left disappointed and dismayed with my experience. Told I was 1st on the list, enquired beginning of the week and checked in each day to ensure all was well. The car was then ready today and I arranged to come down at 5:30. So we drove an hour down to them. Steve seemed great, but when I was 10 minutes away, his colleague rang to say somebody had been in and placed a deposit. So I couldn't do anything. I had told Steve that I desperately wanted this model, replacing the one I had that was smashed into. So I was massively let down by this. Being told I was top of the list to see it first and an un-appointmented walk-in buys it only half an hour before my appointment. I'd be happy to change this review if they help me in the future, but it's a truly disheartening experience. Absolutely gutted.

I found my Mini on Autotrader in the early evening and sent a text to Steve. I got a reply almost straight away and arranged to see the Mini the next day. When I got there, it was outside waiting and had been cleaned. Steve was there with a handshake and a smile. I was able to take the car for a drive, with handy directions too and we spoke when I came back. Not at any point was I treated in a condescending manner or spoken down to. Something I have experienced in the past from dealers, despite being in the trade myself. Steve made the whole transaction easy, from payment to collection. Even at the 11th hour the Mini needed something from the workshop, the part was ordered, work was done and the keys were in my hand only a couple of hours behind schedule, all the while Steve was in constant contact with me keeping me updated. We were welcomed back with the same warm smile and enthusiasm as before. As someone who has spent their entire career in the motor trade I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful small business. Every box was ticked, customer service, warm welcome, excellent treatment, clean, fuelled and nice car at the end of it. Thank you Steve!

I had my car from Getaroundcars few days now and I'm loving it! Steve and Jim, delivered what they've promised with great customer service. I would definitely purchase from them again if I had to and highly recommending their services.
