Large house close to the centre of Croyde (bars, shops, Food) with a big garden and a second 'orchard' to the rear which had a gate straight onto some lovely countryside walks. The house has everything you need to comfortably sleep three couples and 2/3 kids (bunk beds in seperate room and a single in a room with a double). The ability to use a selection of wet-suits, body boards and garden/beach games is brilliant and definitely makes packing less of a hassle. I would very much recommend this as a place to stay for a large group / family as the house and surrounding area are lovely. But there is one gripe.... The fact the house accommodates dogs was the main reason we stayed, and whilst grateful this part was our only gripe. Unless missed by ourselves there's a few more rules to dogs staying than originally anticipated - not upstairs, not on the furniture and always on a lead in the garden. These would not necessarily be deal breakers, but as mentioned, unless missed beforehand this was not known until our arrival and made things a little more complicated - especially as we had prepared for elements of this (blankets to go over sofas, crate for sleeping in bedroom etc). So I would say if you're taking dogs ensure you're happy with this arrangement first, otherwise, lovely spot.
