Andrew was fantastic. I booked the 121 studio session and learned everything from camera settings to technique; Andrew had every basis covered. He is an attentive teacher, and the class (3hrs) was detailed and practical. The lessons are tailored to your needs. Andre masterclass uses his extensive and impressive portfolio of knowledge and experience to provide a masterclass. I could not recommend his classes enough.

I replaced a whole load of photographic equipment and replaced it with a Fujifilm system. Andrew was very helpful in helping me understand the new system. Andrew is very calm and challenges us with expanding our skills weather on a days course or a longer course or programme. Andrew brings together a great community of people improving our skills.

If you are looking for support with your photography, I thoroughly recommend Andrew Newson Photography. Over period of some years, I have joined a number of the London Fujifilm Photo Walks, which provide tuition and practical support in learning how to get the best from your camera. I have more recently taken some 121 tuition. My experience of working with Andrew is fantastic. He is hugely knowledgeable, and a patient and thoughtful tutor.

I was looking for a photographer teacher/mentor to take my photography skills to a higher level and found Andrew Newson from Crowborough, East Sussex. Andrew has a fabulous private studio he works from and often runs field trips. I attended a workshop with Andy on Potrait Lighting and the use of flash. He had a fantastic model, Naomi. Together with Andy's great teaching skills and sense of fun, the day was a fantastic opportunity to learn about lighting, work with a professional model and put our new skills into practice. We worked both inside the studio and outside which presented challenges with rapidly changing light, high winds and the cold. Naomi was the consummate pro and never complained. Andy always made sure we understood the theory before putting it into practice. Have come away with shots I can't believe I took, made new friends and am now confident enough to take the speed light out of its box and experiment. Naomi was brilliant. Andy ran a great workshop which was well structured, informative and fun. He unravelled the mystery of lighting and flash. And we had chocolate. Don't hesitate to go on one of these courses. Can't recommend it highly enough and would go again. PS. If Annie Leibovitz needs an assistant, she can drop me an email.......
