Station Garage

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh good Lord. Do NOT buy a car from this so called company. Is it Station Garage, or is it Croston Garage ?? Made the mistake of making a passing interest in a car. Part of the delightful pre sales experience, was to sit in the car and to be told in no small detail about his ear wax problems God almighty. Every phone call from Bob/Bobby/Robert Dickinson was pre-empted with "I won't pressure you" despite there being several a day until I paid a 400 cash deposit. For which I didn't receive a receipt initially. From then on, everything changed. I was being "daft" for not transferring the full amount, before the repairs (which I noticed, they weren't pointed out) and the previous owner had "been quite happy to drive round with". Instead of being thrilled, I was in tears and asked for my deposit back, less than 48 hours later. Only to be told that wouldn't happen as he said "my time is not for nothing". Having sent a Recorded Delivery letter within 14 days asking for my 400 back, he replied saying he wants costs for the repairs to a car I don't own, plus interest, or I'll be taken to court. Fantastic customer service. Not. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
