        Brilliant. Howard and Carole were fantastic hosts and a pleasure to meet. The Pods are fantastic and there is everything you need to have a wonderful break. We didnt get chance to use the fire pit because of the weather but its a fantastic addition to the outside space. We took two small dogs and they enjoyed their stay too. Plenty of room for us all. Highly recommend.

        Nearby activities: We didn't eat at Crosthwaite, but had food in Kendal which isn't too far of a drive. We also visited the alpacas at Sykes which was a really nice afternoon out! While we didn't fancy doing any big walks or hikes, they provide maps and directions for some local walks that you can borrow :)

        What a fantastic little find! Carole and Howard were amazing hosts and did everything to make us feel welcome during our stay. Lovely set up in a great location. Immaculate and very clean. Fridge came with the essentials we needed for our stay and even had an out house with wood and coal. We ate at the local pub in the village (The Punch Bowl Inn) - food was so yummy and service was top notch! Will be back again soon!
