Very old church, lived in crosscanonby for many years and grew up playing around and in front of this church when there were lots of children in the village, good memories playing Tin can on a dark and windy night and hiding in church grounds waiting for someone to find you !!

Stunning little church with a very interesting past, my 3 times great grandparents were married there in 1814. A Scandinavian stone and the grave of a salt officer add even more interest to a church with an interesting history.

Has a Roman Gate Arch from the Roman town of Maryport. This arch is near the altar of the church and is complete with Roman god alcoves one on each side. Also is very tranquil.
