Fabulous taster day - thoroughly enjoyed it. Freya is so lovely, hugley knowledgeable and very helpful. Will definitely do the next course and wouldn't hestitate to recommend her. Faciltites, tools and the woods we used were all great!

Freya Whamond delivered a most enjoyable creative woodworking course at British Hardwoods. Freya is both a skilled woodworker and a personable tutor deftly adapting the course to the skill level of her students enabling them to get the most from the course. She certainly enjoyed the challenge of helping me turn my idea for a meat cleaver chopping board into reality! The facilities are excellent with a wide range of wood choice ideal for laminated board construction with natural colour contrast. Had a fantanstic 2 days on the Rustic woodworking course making a milking stool. Freya is a very helpful patient and informed teacher who explains how things should be done rather than just doing it for you. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wanting a go at woodwork you really don't need any previous experience.

Spent two great days making a rustic stool with good tuition at every step of the way. Looking forward to attending another course and learning yet more new skills. Would recommend the course to anyone who likes working with raw materials to create stunning bits of furniture.

Excellent instructor, really well structured and delivered course. Freya seemed naturally skilled at demonstrating and guiding woodworking techniques, and really helped to learn important skills and build confidence. She was enthusiastic about the things she was teaching and supportive and friendly in her style. I would definitely recommend attending one of her courses
