I have received the best optical care, ranging from extremely thorough eye examinations to a great range of eye care products and lovely looking good quality spectacle frames and lenses. The eye plan is great value for money and makes every purchase and test more affordable. In addition support is provided for taking care of your specs by providing free top up cleaner and adjustments following some wear and tear. Also, the staff are lovely too - friendly, kind and professional. I would strongly recommend all your services and products. :)

Simply outstanding. This phrase best describes the services provided by Airedale Opticians to my mum. My mum is approaching her 93rd birthday and has used Airedale opticians for many years. Despite her advanced years, mum is completely cognisant and very much knows her own mind. I recently accompanied her to an appointment and I was greatly impressed by the level of service during the entire visit. From the moment that we entered the shop mum was treated with the greatest courtesy and respect. I was very impressed, not just with the level of professional expertise demonstrated during the eye examination itself, but also with the sensitivity care and patience shown towards my mum throughout the examination. Advice and guidance was offered in a clear and concise manner as to how mum can best maintain her eye health. A clear plan of action was mutually agreed between mum and the optician. Following the examination the front of shop staff treated mum with similar levels of care, attention and patience. At all times, mum was listened to, her opinions valued and her choices respected. The pros and cons of various frames that she had selected were pointed out and explained to her. There was absolutely no pressure on mum to make any particular choice with staff willing to give sound advice and guidance as and when required. Mum left the shop confident in her choices and knowing that her choices had been made in a supportive and secure environment. She is delighted with her choices. Mum has previously had hearing assessments at appointments with a well-known High Street outlet with what can only be described as mixed results. I was sufficiently impressed with the service offered by Airedale opticians to arrange an appointment for mum to have a hearing assessment at the same premises. We returned last week for the audiology appointment and this proved to be in sharp contrast to mums previous experiences with audiologists. Aqsa, the audiologist demonstrated the same level of professional expertise as the optician had the previous week, blending this with care, sensitivity, patience and attention towards mum. The audiologist explained clearly and carefully the results of the assessment to mum in a manner in which she understood. At no point was she was being talked down to this, I feel, is particularly important when dealing with an elderly patient with significant hearing loss. As a result of the assessment mum has, and I certainly have, a much greater understanding of the hearing challenges she faces. A range of options was presented to mum including continuing with her existing hearing aids. Again there was absolutely no pressure on mum to make any particular choice and ultimately mum decided to purchase new hearing aids which will be much better suited to cope with her particular hearing loss. Upon reading this review, please do not think that a visit to Airedale opticians is about sales. This could not be further from the truth, for mum both visits were very much about meeting her needs. There is a very sharp focus on client needs with clients treated with dignity and respect at all times. I actually found the entire experience very refreshing, all too often we are expected to accept adequate levels of care instead of expecting, and receiving, the very highest levels of care. I commend the services of Airedale Opticians without reservation.
