I just got back from a 120mile round trip and it was well worth it! Having never been before, they were incredibly helpful, showing me where to find the different sawn timber I was looking for, giving me time to look through stock and choose what I needed. Prices and stock were the reason I made the journey and on both aspects they exceeded my expectations, the place is huge with an amazing amount of stock. I was also shown a shop area with lots of pre-planed boards, live edge slabs (some stunning yew while I was there!), thin stock wood, off cuts of all sizes, an absolute treasure trove of timber! Craft makers, turners and similar will find plenty of amazing small quantity timber here as well as the full length sawn stuff I was there for. All the guys there were so friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to help. They opened the shutter doors to let me pull the car in to load up and even turned the plastic wrap machine back on, after shutting down for the day, to wrap all my timber to protect it from the rain on the roof bars. I will definitely be back in the future, thank you guys for the fantastic service, you're a credit to the company!

Hugely impressed with how friendly the staff are. As a wood carver, I am never going to be a customer who spends tonnes of cash, as carving is a slow process, but the staff were really helpful and so friendly.
