Several of the 14mm eyelets of two of our curtains had become loose and fallen off. A big problem since we have 16 identical curtains and replacements are not available anymore. By accident I found Magdale Curtains in the UK. A bit of a hassle for me living in Bavaria and sending the curtains to Huddersfield. However, it was well worth it. The curtains came back in time, at a reasonable price and better than new. Thank you Margaret, you have done a great job and solved a substantial problem for us.

I needed some eyelet curtains to match a headboard (unfortunately the makers of the headboard were unable to assist as they did not have the equipment necessary for eyelet curtains). I contacted Margaret via the website and received an instant quote which was very acceptable. Arranged for the material to be sent directly to her from the manufacturers and a couple of weeks later the curtains appeared absolutely perfect and look great with the headboard. Really good, effortless, service and a very reasonable price (much cheaper and more efficient than using someone in the area where I live - Surrey). Would thoroughly recommend.

Brilliant and very professional service from measuring to hanging, top quality curtain material and a very vast array of designs, impressed with their expert advice and expertise. Would highly recommend this company.

Made rhe curtains inside out. Seams were puckered and. I paid for interfaced curtains and got just cheap fluffy lined. He remaid but curtains were not interfaced and were uneaven at bottom Would not recommend

I asked Magdale Curtains (henceforward MC) to make a Roman blind. MC measured up. The blind was made quickly and fitted by MC. The blind doesn't fit properly. There is a significant gap each side, where the edge of the top half of the window pane is visible. Also, the blind drops 5 cm short of the narrow ledge where I wanted it to fall. Also, spaces between the slats are unequal. Top 2 spaces are 27cm, then 30, then 34.5, then 37, then 20.5cm. 9 other Roman blinds I have are equidistantly slatted. After fitting, MC said the blind had to be narrower because of the fabric pattern and because the window isn't square. Other Roman blinds I've had made, from my measurements, fit perfectly well. When contacting MC, they said "on the odd occasion that a customer is not 100% satisfied, they'll happily put things right". I then asked MC if they would do that in this case - twice. There was no reply. Small margins matter. I paid MC 220 for a blind of imperfect fit and odd construction. That's frustrating. I'll not use again."
