I recently moved to a new house with a rather boring back garden covered entirely in patio slabs. I employed Mark and his team to remove part of the patio and several old rotting sleepers and replace it with turf, along with straightening up the leaning shed and installing a new garden gate. From Mark's first visit to quote, to my correspondence with Claire and through to the job itself I felt confident I was in the hands of a professional company with excellent knowledge. Mark and his team turned up promptly each day, were all lovely and worked really hard. The work was carried out exactly as specified and my garden was left clean and tidy. They even put right a shoddy finish to some gravel boards by a previous workman without me having to ask. I'm so happy with the results and now have a lovely green area I can start adding plants to. I highly recommend this company and they will certainly be my go to team if I want anything else done. All in all a top notch service for a very competitive and fair price. Couldn't be happier! Although not the cheapest quote we received we decided to go with this company as we had used them in the past and they'd done a good job. Sadly I can't say that choosing to use them this time was a good decision. The fence they put up is not level and they did not bring hedge cutters with them so the hedge behind the fence was not trimmed or cut back, so it still hangs over the top of the new fence. The land the fence is built on is sloped but the previous fence had originally been straight and level, as is our neighbour's fence which also follows the same slope and landscape. The team were friendly and pleasant and worked quickly but they left behind lots of pebbles and bits of cement in the front lawn where they had mixed up the concrete for the fence posts. There were bits of old fence wood in the road too. We spent a couple of hours the following day clearing up after them. Overall, I'd say that the job got done but having paid such a lot of money in labour costs I was expecting a better service. Service: Yard landscaping

I have just had the pleasure of the company of Mark and his team of two while they completely transformed my back garden to my design and relaid and widened my front path. I am delighted with the result. They all worked hard despite the weather, which was daunting to say the least for a few days on the trot, but they started and finished on days of beautiful sunshine. They always tidied up at the end of each day, were punctual, pleasant and worked well together. They kept me informed as to what they were doing every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend Mark Cairns Landscapes and I am hoping to have them back in the not too distant future for them to perform their magic in my front garden!
