Clearly the best thing about this place is the bed, amazingly cosy and comfy. It's also in an ideal location for dog walks and getting into town. During Nov it's also great for attending the series of Somerset Carnivals at Shepton, Glastonbury and Wells. The facilities are also very nice, but it could ideally do with another loo.

Poor attitude of host who cancelled the booking when asked a question. On enquiry re dates a week ahead in July 2020 the host said she would confirm the next morning by email. Unfortunately as no contact by evening of the next day I messaged and she confirmed. The host was well aware it was for a landmark birthday trip. However because I asked if we could have an 11 o clock check out as stated on the website she simply cancelled four days beforehand saying she can't accommodate. I had never said we would cancel without a later checkout but suspect as she had said she had another enquiry did not like being asked a simple question. With check in at 4 there is sufficient time to clean as other establishments manage. She also mentioned a continental breakfast again if due to covid did not make this clear in her website. Totally unprofessional and can well imagine the other review of a catalogue of issues was reflective of how she manages the bookings. Thank goodness she did cancel as it sounds like it would have been problematic full stop which is not what you want on a relaxing break.
