Millfield Nursery School

I spent 7 years working at Millfield nursery and it's joined school, Colston Bassett, as a multi-sports coach. Across the years I was able to coach general sports, movement and games / physical activity. It was always going to take something major for me to leave such a brilliant set up and in the summer of 2017 that happened after I accepted a role at Liverpool FC Academy. Since then I have been promoted up to the 1st team and work as a fitness coach there; which has just given me the weekend of a lifetime after we won the Champions League! I genuinely cannot thank the school enough for what they did for me as a coach, their constant commitment and freedom to allow me to experiment and grown as a coach and as a person. Without their reliability of continued work I really don't think I would be the rounded and experienced coach I am today and really don't think I would be where I am today if it wasn't for them, The experiences that the children are provided are amazing, the family feel and individual care / attention they receive is brilliant. We have used Millfield Nursery for the last 3 years following great reviews from friends. Both of our children have loved their time at Millfield especially the outdoor area, dance classes, home corner and rumpus room! The staff are very friendly and accommodating and have taught our children some key skills setting them up well for school. A big thank you to Mrs Miller who is always available to answer questions and discuss any queries we have had. Its been a pleasure sending our children to you!

Millfield Nursery is simply brilliant!! The staff are nurturing, Caring and friendly and always have a smile :) I can not thank Millfield enough for the care they gave my son throughout the time he was with them.

An amazing place. My son has had the best 2 years. The staff are warm and friendly and you know your child will be happy and well looked after. I would reccomend to anyone looking for a pre school. This is the best around.

Our son Jacob attended Millfield for 12 months ahead of starting school when we moved to the area. Jacob settled in straight away thanks to Mr & Mrs Miller amd their fantastic staff. They have created a nurturing, caring and fun environment and our son loved going there to see the staff and his friends! The outside space is truly stunning and the children spend lots of time exploring the outdoors all year round - a definite plus for us. There is always a fun topic or theme to accelerate the chidren's development, such as Pirate Week or the recent 30th Birthday celebrations. We particularly enjoyed Sports Day and the Summer Dance Show... memories we will cherish forever. Millfield really helped prepare Jacob for school life and I am very happy we made the decision to move him here. Testiment to how lovely Mllfield is... Jacobs 5 yr old brother would regularly say he wished he could be Jacob and go to this nursery! Highly recommend this quality childcare provision
