        We had lunch today, Haddock and Chips and Beefburger and chips. The fish was perfect in home made batter with "proper" chips not fries. The burger was also first class and home made too, 1/2 pound. Finally a word about the staff, really friendly and helpful, seemed like they were enjoying working there. Finally, and this is very important to us, not just dog friendly, they welcomed our pooch. 5 stars isn't enough!

        Highly recommend for a local pub experience. Delicious Venison pie, great burgers, perfectly cooked chicken with white wine/mushroom sauce. Nice cold drafts. Friendly service.
