After spending more time getting off horses via the side exit my confidence was zero to none. Just had my first lesson at cloughfields my confidence is massively boosted. Jodie has such an amazing and positive way of explaining things. Shes quick to correct and even quicker to praise so I immediately understood what was needed. Cant wait to turn these lessons into a regular series. And all the people in my lesson couldnt have been nicer. I truly felt welcomed. Thanks and see you soon x Evelyn

I love Cloughfields, I have recently started riding here and had a change from a previous riding school. They are so welcoming and really allow you to shine and be independent within your riding. Something different each week and never dull. I hope to ride here for a long time:)

A truly professional yard with amazing facilities and such a lovely location. The horses are well cared for. Everything a horse and rider could wish for.

The owner was actively rude to my 5 and 2 year old children for looking at the horses in the field off Bolehill Rd (top of Long Lane). She tried to make us move from a public highway, obviously we refused. I will be making a point of frequently walking on the public footpath through the stables (which was there when they bought it and surely was factored into the price). Edit: this happened in July 2020. Phoning you to discuss seems pointless Bruce. Edit 2: Lol, where did it say I was encouraging my child to touch a horse, she was literally looking at it through the fence. The lady who came to have a pop was on your side of the fence so Im assuming she was something to do with your stables. She was very rude and had the social skills of Vladimir Putin. Just saying something didnt happen doesnt will it out of existence. From what Ive heard from the local community and on community forums such as Facebook this is not an isolated incident.
