        We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in room 2. Special thanks go out to 3 members of staff Jake at the bar Kevin and Marius. These guys were so welcoming and friendly and Marius had both myself and wife in stiches at the breakfast table. Nothing from any member of staff was too much trouble, the food was lovely too with a superb breakfast. We can't wait to return. Thanks to all of you.

        I've visited and worked in the Lake District for many years and would put the food served at The Brown Horse Inn up against anything The Lakes have to offer. The Fish Pie was particularly good, and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!
