        I don't often write reviews , and rarely write one a month after staying at a hotel, but remembered this morning what a great stay we had at the Hodgkinsons Hotel. The hotel is stacked with character which helps to provide a detachment from the hustle and bustle of life to help you relax and rewind .... just what me and Vickie needed. Chris and Zoe are wonderful hosts , friendly, welcoming and interesting too. Nothing was too much trouble (not that there was any). We had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb, compliments to the chef !! and the breakfast was cracking, setting us up nicely for a day in the peak district. if you are looking for a hotel with character and charm , great service and cracking food ..... you can't go far wrong We'll definitely be returning Si & Vickie
