First visit to the vets, our dog is quite nervous but also boisterous at the same time. We were able to keep him in the car, and the vet came to fetch him at the allotted time. Would not hesitate to recommend them

We attended Cromer Vets yesterday with our lovely, 13yr old Chocolate Labrador Yogi-Bear. Yogi had been suffering from Arthritis and suspected bone cancer since December 2022. He could not walk far and could hardly get up without help, but still had his sweet gentle nature and was always wagging his tail. We dreaded making the final decision, but we took him along for an assessment. Our Vet, Sarah Hunter, met us in the car park where she thoroughly examined Yogi. Sarah specializes in pain management and was able to answer all our questions in full, helping us to make that final decision. We took Yogi into the vets room, where Sarah gave him a comfy rug to lie on. She gave us a tube of Chicken Liver Pate which he loved and distracted him. We were cuddling him and he was wagging his tail, until he finally and peacefully drifted off. Sarah stayed with us the whole time explaining the process as we went on and she was so kind to Yogi and us. We were devastated but afterwards felt relief and knew we had done the right thing and that it was the right time for him, before the pain became unbearable for him. We can't thank Sarah and the sympathetic reception staff enough, who are very professional and caring. We would thoroughly recommend this practice to any one looking for a venue to support their pets. 'Run free our beautiful boy, Yogi-Bear, with your other pals waiting at The Rainbow Bridge'.
