Booked a table for 6pm, when we turned up the manager said we only have the table for 1:15 minutes. This would be fine if we were told when booking, however we were planning for a three course dinner and a few drinks but we only had time for a main, and a bottle of wine, which alone took an hour at a rush. We were clock-watching the whole time feeling on edge to not go over our allotted time. However, in the end it was almost prophetic, because our meals were awful. How can you mainly do steaks and yet still be so bad at cooking them!? We asked for steak rare, where it wasn't only overcooked, but likely microwaved. The blue cheese sauce was a dressing sauce warmed up for a 3 surcharge. We did tell a member of staff about the poor quality, which met the response of "okay", suggesting that these comments are common. For the price, you can, and will, easily find far better quality elsewhere within walking distance. Stick to the drinks and don't waste your money.
