We were camping nearby and saw the shop when passing by. It doesn't look pretty from the outside but is well worth a visit! As a test run we bought some plain sausages to barbeque, a Scotch egg and pork pie. Everything seems very reasonably priced and the meat in the chiller looked very inviting! The Scitch egg, eaten as we left the shop, was lovely, not gourmet, but a good quality basic scotch egg. My test of a good pork pausage is to BBQ it and see how it goes,; perfect! Coooked evenly with a lovely brown, crisp even skin WITHOUT spitting fat and causing flare ups and splitting. A very good meaty, firm, well seasoned sausage. So good we're hoping to buy more to take home. Also hoping to try the pork and tomato version. Pork pie is yet to be eaten; if it disappoints I'll update!
