        This is a lovely little place nicely nestled behind the pier. It can be overlooked, but definitely shouldn't. It serves as a nice little RNLI museum and the home of a lifeboat. I have seen it in practice at times, and it is great. I always donate and make purchases in the gift shop to keep the place open and aid the important organisation. Despite me being extremely petrified of being above and on the sea, I always forget my worries here. Beautiful and informative place for a great organisation.

        The lifeboat station is generally open to the public most days depending on crew availability. The pier is open throughout it's length so one can get a good idea of how fit the crew are to get the boat into the water during a shout within 15 mins of their pager going off.
