I would highly recommend using this company for your dogs training. James who was our dogs trainer is very knowledgeable, experienced and interacts with both owners and their dogs in a highly professional manner and offers consistent advice throughout. James offered and modelled lots of ideas, techniques and feedback during and following each session whilst allowing us to practise what he had shown to ensure our technique was right too. He revisited and reviewed to ensure it was firmly embedded into the practise for us to follow at home. Our dog and ourselves have benefitted so much from the training as it has built on our relationship and trust. Nothing was too much trouble, 100% amazing, thankyou James

Im so pleased we made the decision to have training here with our rescue lurcher Essie, after reading the reviews. Zak was excellent explaining things and showing us how to train our very stubborn girl. With hard work from them, us and Essie there is such a huge difference and we're all much happier. Essie was scared of everything and pulling, her confidence, happiness and well being has improved so much. She's a delight now! The training is tailored to your needs and they are very happy to work with you, for instance we needed to introduce walking beside a wheelchair. Many more adventures to have, Essie loves going here and so did we Thanks from Steve and Essie

Very professional and friendly, i have a doberman and James helped me out a lot. My doberman had no training so i went for help and now my dog is so much better. Very good trainer for me and my dog. Thank you. Highly recommended

I couldnt recommend The Dog Training Company at Wakefield enough! Our almost 2 year old border collie, Callie, had become very reactive towards most other dogs to the point where I no longer enjoyed taking her for walks so I knew I needed professional help. From the very start, James made us feel at ease and was very patient with us, he gave us the confidence that Callie has the potential to make the right choices and listened to our every concern. The difference Callie has made in 16 weeks is astonishing, she is so much calmer in the house, no longer pulls on the lead and is becoming much better around other dogs, we couldnt be prouder of her and we couldnt have done it without the help from James so thank you so much!
