        If you're thinking of switching then I highly recommend applying at least 2 months before your previous association membership runs out. The website can't handle a high volume of applications. I applied in January and paid the full fee at the same time. My order couldn't be processed (although I got an email saying it had been successful. Over a month later I was still waiting. I contacted them. They asked for payment. I sent the proof. They emailed a link to process my account. It didn't work. Took 3 days for the website to finally stop saying "security check failed". Fingers crossed that I am finally a member.
