Why do you still operate under covid rules? You can contact majority of surgeries in South London trust like normal and you just have email and phone line opened for one hour in the morning? This only extends existing backlog instead of relieving it! Practices that returned to normal work dealt with theirs long time ago. I've pom medication you refuse to put through as repeat despite specialist diagnosis within NHS and handover of care so I have to try and call you up every time! People work and study and between 8 and 9 are commuting! Even if somehow i manage to go to uni or work hour early just to talk to you to get my meds, 30 seconds after 8 in the morning I'm already 9th or so in the queue!

When you actually get to see a doctor they are extremely good but its very rare. You can't make enquiries via the reception and you get told to go on the website and pretty much everyday they are disabling the website until the next day. Its only 11 am and its already shut down for today. Not every body can get on at 8am to fill in the form that sometimes isn't even responded to. The doctors need to be taking on board what patients are saying and change the way this system works because its getting beyond a joke.

Before moving into the area I looked for a doctor who was able to assist me with my on going problems. And was happy when finding out that two doctors had an interest in musculoskeletal disorders, as I had fractured my spine had a spinal implant and had several other procedures done on the spine. I went to the doctor to order my usual repeat prescription as I did for my previous doctor, which contains Fentanyl ( which is a powerful pain killer), only to be told that I had to see a doctor. I booked an appointment went to see a doctor who wrote out the prescription. I was then informed that as the doctor was a locum I was not allowed the Fentanyl. So I booked another appointmentand went to see the doctor on a Saturday, only to be told that he couldn't write the prescription as he was for emergencies. I went back to the doctors and was told that I would have to wait over a month before I could get an appointment, and I only had less than weeks supply. Fentanyl is a powerful drug and it had taken me years to get to the point where my pain was just about bearable, and without it I would probably ended up in A&E. Needless to say I enrolled at a different surgery who were able to see me the next day.
