After attending a jobs fair at my local Jobcentre & was invited to a interview or a informal chat using their own words which I attended at their Crick CNC manufacturing facility only to be told during the meeting that there wasnt any job for me as I didnt have direct experience with engineering but I could do an inspection related job at the quality control end of the production line & would be in touch to set up some trial shifts but I havent heard anything from them since the interview/informal meeting whatever you want to call it which was back in mid November. I feel that this was a real waste of time & not just for me but for them too! I would be very wary of Smart Turn they really didnt come across as very professional at all in fact all that the director that I met wanted to do was boast about the McLaren Formula One & Mercedes Formula One teams contracts so just keep this in mind if considering working for Smart Turn!

everything there was against me, from the clock-in method to the attitude of my superiors. the supervisor was acting like he gave me job, having a go on me most of the time, being patronizing and findind excuses for his polish mates. not to mention he was unable to speak some Eenglish that I could understand, as the majority of the polish employees there. never had a job befor where I was speaking English better than my supervisor. I was unable to get proper training because of that and not just once I was getting answers that had no relation with my questions. Even though I've invested financially in myself I'm getting sacked for some parts that I didn't machine and people coming drunk at work, putting the health of others at risk, are fine working there. I've took the best out my experience there but as a company and work environment that place is at least not worth it. Warning: YOU WON'T GET A PERMANENT CONTRACT AS ADVERTISED. YOU WON'T GET ANY CONTRACT FOR THAT MATTER. Weekly payment as working for an agency so you can be sacked in an instant if they feel like.
